Location Summary: P&H Winchester Grain Elevator is centered between the 416, 417 and 401 corridors providing excellent transport routes to the Port of Montreal, Ottawa, Prescott Grain Terminal, Casco Cardinal and Greenfield Ethanol in Johnstown. We are also on the main CP Windsor – Quebec City rail line and we are only 50 kms from two international bridges. We are mainly associated with Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry counties however we are increasingly involved with farms from Renfrew County, Kingston area and close to the Quebec border.
The main townships of Mountain, Winchester and North Stormont are excellent clay loam land capable of a 200 bu/acre corn crop and a 50 bu/acre soybean crop. The main crops grown in the region are Corn, Soybeans and Wheat as well the are is still quite strong in the dairy industry.
We offer assistance in future markets, basis contracts and off farm contracts as well as the transportation logistics.
P&H Winchester provides storage for corn and soybeans at a very competitive per day basis. We process corn, soybeans and wheat with the ability to dry grains at 2,300 bph with a 10 point removal of moisture.
