Location Summary: P&H Thunder Bay Terminal on Lake Superior has a central location within Canada, located 3,000 km from the salt water export ports used by various P&H companies on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.
Crossed by both CN and CP railways, Thunder Bay is the location of the largest outbound port on the St. Lawrence Seaway System providing an integral multi-modal hinge between Western and Eastern P&H Grain operations.
P&H Thunder Bay Terminal is the pivot for grains and oilseeds moving to six provinces in Eastern Canada and for Eastern export. Our traders utilize the terminal in conjunction with our network of Marine Terminals to boost flexibility and take advantage of changing trading patterns.
The facility is equipped to receive grain from country elevators that requires re-cleaning, grade confirmation and protein segregation.
